Romain Laprade


Romain Laprade is a photographer based in Paris. After several years spent as a graphic designer in fashion magazine he decided to concentrate entirely on his photographic work. In February 2018 Villa Noailles entrusted him with an exhibition for its annual event devoted to architecture. He exhibited around fifteen pictures of an architectural masterpiece. Alain Capeillères’s swimming pool. In December 2018, he self-published his first book on Palm Springs architecture.

In February 2019 he released « No water » edited by Libraryman a serie about the desert in California. Romain regularly collaborates with magazine such asWall Street Journal, Le Monde d’Hermes, Kinfolk, Holiday magazine and houses such as Isabel Marant, Aesop, Chloé, Rimowa, Mango etc... Voluntarily focused on architecture, locations, shadows and summer atmospheres, Romain find beauty in the trivial details of everyday life, giving his images a feeling of immense tranquility.
